Supposed CIA operative Deborah “Stones” Stoner is angry—again. Tired of her lengthy recovery from a sniper gut shot received while working black in Jalalabad, she loses her temper and beats three assailants within an inch of their lives while rescuing an innocent shopper and his family. This draws her into the treasonous support of Senator Daniel Aragón, a presidential candidate seeking to bring the country back to moral integrity and honor.
What she falls into completely changes her life. In the backdrop of astonishing threats to the country, Deborah must overcome political intrigue, military treachery, torture, and her past injuries (mental, physical, and spiritual) in order to save the Desert Southwest from the unthinkable: invasion and secession.
This is a full-size book a la Tom Clancy or W.E.B. Griffin’s Presidential Agent Series. I always feel like I’m cheated if I get less than 500 pages. So, this one should be satisfactory.
Normal readers: There is a lot of spiritual reality in this book. If that offends you, I would stop here. We are in the midst of major spiritual battles in our country and our world. This shows that from astral projection through spiritual rebirth. Prepare to have your preconceptions challenged.
Christian readers: This is a book about special operations warriors and war. So, needless to say there is violence. In addition, the private spec ops company tasked with winning the day has leadership which includes a female pastor who is also a legendary CIA assassin [retired]. This tale is a bit gritty and no so-called Christian publisher, except for Radiqx Press, will touch it.
